lyrics

Have you heard them scream at night?
Just another rock to climb

May the anguish let you sleep?
Just another rock to climb

Hiding your head so deep in the sand
To run from the names you’re spelling in dreams
Dames that rape, names that make you still
The morning sun, caged in your bar coded wrist
Drenched in the life force of millions for whom there is no next day
There has to be another place
a high land for the fortunate ones to make it there

Scream your way up to the top
Just another rock to climb

I know well you know what’s going on
Trading your life for soothing holograms and plastic perks
But we gotta run, move on, head on towards the surface
To reach for that one world, one thought, one sword
Swiftly, stylishly, raising our arms

Easter island’s on the rise
Just another rock to climb
